Hotel Wave Rehoboth Beach

Caveat: we visited in early February, so this review is based on an off-season experience. My husband and I came to Hotel Wave for our honeymoon after our wedding in January. There was a note in our reservation that this was our honeymoon, so when we arrived, the managers had put together something special for us. When we walked in the room, there were rose petals on the floor, a bottle of martinelli sparkling cider along with two flutes, and a card that offered congratulations. The fact that they took the time to put that together meant so much to us. (See pictures) The location was easy to find, although it was a bit of a drive to the beach - which didn't matter to us. The tub in the room was super fun. I love that the TV could swivel around so you could watch TV while being in the tub. The staff was friendly and nice. The pool was nice as well, although it was not the cleanest I've ever been to. The floor is like gravel cement, so make sure to wear shoes. The hot tub was warm with nice jets. The breakfasts were all right, although most of the mornings we were there the hard-boiled eggs got dry and withered. (So gross!) It seemed like they could have offered a few more options, especially considering it was off-season. Although perhaps they offer more when they have more guests staying. There didn't appear to be an elevator to get to the second floor. The lobby was comfortable, and we often sat down by the fire to eat breakfast or to read. I like that there was a couch in the room as well as the bed. There wasn't really a desk anywhere, so if you need to work or write for any reason this is not the place for that. The bathroom was very tiny but adequate. The jetted tub more than made up for it. There is also coin laundry if you need it. Overall, we had a pleasant time here. It was a wonderful place to spend the last days of our honeymoon. Thank you to all the staff and managers for making it a great experience.

I absolutely Enjoyed my time here ! My only complaints is the carpets needs to be replaced . I prayed the whole walk down to my room lol but the room was wonderful! The pool area definitely can use a remodel but everything else was great ! The front desk worker (TRAYVON) was outstanding—very attentive, respectful, and efficient. He handled everything smoothly and made my experience pleasant. His positive attitude truly stood out. This hotel is lucky to have him as a worker!

It was very clean. Although, this place seems more like a motel than a hotel except with the hotel's cleanliness. This place doesn't have an elevator so you must climb the stairs. Our price for 1 room for 4 people was 388 dollars. They have complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and toilet paper. Toiletries do not include toothbrushes or toothpaste so they sell them to you for like around 3 dollars i believe? The only complaint i have was that I booked a room for four people but they only set it up for 2 people since they only had enough towels for 2 people. So, I had to go downstairs again to pick the missing ones and bring them back upstairs myself.

Not too often I give 5 star reviews for hotels! But this place absolutely fit the bill for everything we were looking for. From the clean rooms, to our dogs having plenty of room our experience was awesome. Sergio and Melissa are amazing! All of the staff were always helpful and understanding. Rooms were clean. Hot tub and pool were a great added bonus. The breakfast gave you everything you needed to get your day started. Plenty of room for the dogs to use the bathroom as well. Location is perfect. Let's just say I will be back to stay here again! This place rocks

My son and I stayed at this hotel recently and really enjoyed our stay. Reasonable price. The staff was super nice and the rooms were clean. We also enjoyed the free breakfast (waffles make everything better). Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were nice, we enjoyed the indoor pool. We like the Pavillion area. Dog friendly. Laundry facility, free. Breakfast was danishes, u make ur own Belgian waffles, yogurt, coffee, hard boiled eggs, muffins, milk, English muffins. We were very happy for a drop in guest. The staff was nice and helpful. Booked a stay here for two nights during the Sea Witch Festival. The room was nice and clean. It had a basic continental breakfast with the added bonus of a waffle maker. The location is close to two bus stops (one for both directions across the main road from one-another). There's also a small shopping area and a tourist gift shop. Very convenient for Rehoboth if you plan on using public transportation.

Great place for short and long stays, central to the town, and amenities are satisfactory. And there's free breakfast, including waffles!
